The Beginning March 1st marked the one total year mark that I have had my sketch card artwork up for sale mostly on Ebay. My only notion of what a true sketch card was was thanks to my father still collecting non-sports cards and keeping me in the loop. I had stopped collecting trading cards seriously way back in 1998 after Fleer saturated the market and the CCG market made too many sets and split the player bases too thin. This was also when I gave up on comic book collecting but that is a tale for another journal entry. Thus all I knew was I could draw on card stock and maybe sell my work. I hadn't sold my art in about 20 years because my skills had degraded. So I made my first test card and I dubbed it my promo card.
